Logic & HITRECORD Produce 21 Person Collab “Do What You Love”

Logic rounds up some of the worlds up and coming talent to join him for the inspirational video to “Do What You Love.”

The DMV rapper collaborates with Youtube’s HITRECORD for the unique collaborative experiment, Logic made the call last year along with actor Joseph Gordon Levitt around the world for anybody and everybody to collaborate with him on this original song. The call for talent resulted in spawning the song “Do What You Love” which features 21 people with different backgrounds and skill sets from around the world.

Just this Friday at SXSW Logic unveiled the video for the track that shows the rapper and Joseph making their way to a gas station to fill up and once they pull over the many artists that contributed to the song jump out the “Mystery Machine” van.

While appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show recently Joseph Gordon Levitt says that the project shares similarities to hit shows like American Idol,

It’s not a contest, it’s a collaboration,” he said. “At the end of the show, all these people all over the world, they weren’t competing against each other, they made a song together.”

Watch the collaboration below and afterward check out the YouTube Originals special documenting the collaborative process of creating this music video.
