Lil Wayne recently blessed his loyal fans with exclusive tickets for free to his “I Ain’t Shit Without You” Tour and Tidal now has shared the exclusive footage.
The Tour in partnership with Tidal and Sprint made stops in Houston, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and Chicago- all in part due to fans votes on selected cities.
Nearly a month later Tidal has released the short documentary that showcases a behind-the-scenes look at the tour. The clip coming in at 11-and-a-half-minutes features performance footage, interviews with concert-goers, and some behind the scenes words from Weezy, who details his love for his fan base as well as the significance of each stop in the selected cities.
“I ain’t sh*t without my fans—plain and simple,“ Weezy says. “I’m an artist that got big off of putting out free music. I started putting mixtapes out, that’s how I always did it … just giving out free music. I always wanted to be heard, and you listen.“
Check out the documentary below along with his full Chicago performance and if you’re in the DMV area April 26-27 be sure to get your tickets to the third annual Broccoli City Festival in Maryland. The festival will feature performances by Childish Gambino, Teyana Taylor, 6lack, Ella Mai, and City Girls.
