Lil Wayne Drops Green Bay Packers Theme Song “Green And Yellow”
Coming almost 10 years after releasing his theme song “Green And Yellow” the resident cheesehead drops his follow-up to the popular song.
Wayne pays homage to the NFL team as Green Bay prepares for its NFC divisional playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams
on Saturday (1/16/21). Weezy made the announcement during his appearance on the Skip And Shannon: Undisputed show where the New Orleans rapper shed some light on the track.
“I did a song before and we had a good turnout. It was successful,” Weezy says talking about “Green and Yellow.” “We had good results, and we’re going to try to do it again this time … I put a lot of time into it. I worked on it for three days, too. I don’t do that.”
Lil Tunechi also spoke on the topic of how he became a Green Bay Packer fan from his late father, Reginald McDonald.
.@LilTunechi on the theme song he made for the Packers playoff run:
“I want them to hear it and be ready to run through a wall. Me and Coach Matt been cool. I put a lot of time into it. I worked on it for 3 days and I usually don’t do that.” pic.twitter.com/yd5IkvKSD0
