Jeezy Details His First Studio Album TM101

 

Fourteen years ago Atlanta rapper Jeezy emerged on the hip hop scene with his first studio album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101The classic would become a manual to the street life with Songs like “Soul Survivor” and “Go Crazy” capturing the hustler’s spirit that kept the streets wanting more. For years, the Atlanta rapper would define his career with his hood gospels.

 

Jeezy’s long career has finally run its course as the Snowman will release his TM 104, the last installment from his series and the final album of his decorated career.

 

I kept it me, and I kept it solid,” Jeezy tells Billboard in an exclusive interview. “All the records that I did, even the ones that didn’t make the album, they were all true to me. It’s what true thug motivation means. Just like everything that I’ve done, I put my heart into it like it was my first album. Like it was my first ad-lib. Like it was my first rodeo.”

 

The rapper recently sat down for an exclusive interview backtracking to his first album and giving fans an inside look on his first project. In his interview, the Atlanta rapper speaks on how he felt about Thug Motivation 101  upon finishing, the pressures behind the making of the album and his project being leaked two months before it’s release.
