Jadakiss Drops New Song & Short Film “ME”

 

 

D Block rapper Jadakiss takes some time away from his usual L.O.X collaborations and features to go the solo route surprising fans with a new single accompanied by a short film.

 

The new loosie “MEsamples Peabo Bryson’s 1982 single “Give Me Your Love” as the opening of the Bryan-Michael Cox-produced track. Jada’s new song is in promotion for his upcoming project Ignatius“, the title paying homage to “Icepick” Jackson who passed away and was an A&R executive for both Ruff Ryders and The LOX, over the years.

 

 

To complement his new song the Yonkers native also releases his short film. The 9-minute Motion Picture stars Jadakiss, Peter Greene (Pulp Fiction, The Mask) and Hassan Johnson (“Wee-Bey” from The Wire). In the clip, three men are involved in a Jewelry heist together that turns for the worst.
