Drake Pays His Respects To Nipsey Hussle At His Show In London

You can really feel the scope of how much Nipsey Hussle was loved and revered by many in the entertainment industry with plenty of artists, athletes, industry folks and fans paying him tribute.

Last night (4/1/19) in London Drake kicked off one of seven nights in the city and he didn’t let this moment pass without paying tribute to his close friend Nipsey in between songs.

Drake worked with Nipsey on songs like his “Killer” off the late great rappers “Bullets Aint Got No Name 3.”

Before his London concert just after hearing the news, Champagne Papi left some heartfelt words for Nip on social media,

Fuck. My whole energy is just at a low right now hearing this,” said Drake after hearing of Nipsey’s death. “We just linked for the first time in years and said we were gonna do a new song this summer cause it had been too long. You were having the best run and I was so happy watching from distance fam nobody ever talks down on your name you were a real one to your people and to the rest of us. I’m only doing this here cause I want the world to know I saw you as a man of respect and a don. Rest easy my g.”
