Cardi B Indicted On Felony Charges Stemming From Strip Club Assault


According to TMZ Cardi B has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges that include 2 felonies stemming from a nightclub brawl in NYC.


Cardi was arrested last year in October for allegedly ordering an attack on two strip club bartenders who claim they were injured during the brawl when Cardi’s people began throwing bottles and chairs.


The incident that reportedly took place in August 2018 was allegedly started when Cardi accused one of the bartenders that goes by the name Jade of sleeping with her Migos member husband Offset.


As a result of the incident, the Bodak Yellow rapper has been indicted on 14 charges, including 2 counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Other charges include misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, and harassment.


Cardi B rejected a plea deal that would have given her a conditional discharge in exchange for pleading guilty to a single misdemeanor.


Last month after investigation prosecutors decided to take it to the Grand Jury because of information they uncovered.


Despite the Bronx natives legal woes she still managed to appear at the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards in Beverly Hills with Offseton Thursday night (June 20), where the rapper won an award for Songwriter of the Year.
