Logic drops a gripping ode to his Bi-Racial background in his latest Single Everybody, coming from his Forthcoming project of the same name set to drop May 5th.
There’s been much speculation of the artist’s racial background recently, and through the Years. Yet today logic puts the questioning to rest with lines like, “Not accepted by the black or the white/ I don’t give a f–k, praise God, I could see the light/ Everybody talkin’ ’bout race this, race that/ Man, I wish I could erase that, face facts.”
The subject has been important to the artist for some time and he recently in a exclusive interview with Genius talked about the track saying,“I have to look in the mirror and see the man that I do, and know, that in my bloodline and in my lineage was the slave and the master. he later tells the platform,“And that’s what made me. That’s what created me. And it’s kind of f—ed up to think about that, but I’m not ashamed of who I am.”
Logics forthcoming project Everybody will make a example on the current views and break down racial barriers and stereotypes.
