Fat Joe sat down with DJ Vlad to speak about the controversial conversations that stem from their longtime friendship, close to the end of the interview, Joe backtracks to the previous comparison he had made between himself and rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine.
Joey Cracks reasoning on comparing himself to the controversial artist is Joe insists that 69 might be on a dangerous path, just like he was when he first came in the rap game.
“I hope the kid figures it out and lives. That was the concept with Fat Joe, Fat Joe was like a walking time bomb, especially with all that beef with 50 cent and all that.”
In the talk, Joe went to explain that he’s lost $150 million over money in his career, due to not leaving the streets.
“I lost 100 million doing that type of shit. I was unapproachable for people tryna give me all types of money for endorsements and all that.”
“I’m tryna make money yo, I’m tryna make hits. I already did that.”
In an interview with 105.1’s Breakfast Club not long ago Fat Joe explained why he likes to share his newfound wisdom with the young rappers who are coming up.
“I was Tekashi 6ix9ine when I first came in the game. I was 50 Cent when I first came in the game.”
