The Atlanta rap trio Migos are reportedly being sued for allegedly stealing one of their biggest hits from Culture II “Walk It Talk It.”
As documents state obtained by the website The Blast, Lender Pickett also known by M.O.S. claims he recorded a song titled “Walk It Like I Talk It” in 2007 and copyrighted the track in 2018. The song lived on Pickett’s mixtape, It’s Like A Movie, which also featured DJ Folk who was working for CTE Music in 2007 with Coach K.
Its reported that Pickett learned of the Migos song in January of this year and is accusing Takeoff, Offset and Quavo for using his song without permission and wants an injunction against Migos so the Atlanta trio can no longer profit off his work.
Pickett is looking for payment of all earnings granted to the group for the song and unspecified damage.
